18 July 2017, Delta Hotel, Sherbrooke, QC, CANADA
As the conference chair, I am pleased to announce that the 5th International Conference on Durability of Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composites for Construction and Rehabilitation of Structures, CDCC 2017, will be held on July 19-21, 2017 in Sherbrooke, Quebec (Canada). CDCC is a series of conferences held every four years approximately and focusing on the durability, and field applications of Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) for construction and rehabilitation of structures (bridges, buildings, marine structures, etc.). With this new edition, we hope to continue the tradition of success initiated by the preceding conferences held in Sherbrooke in 1998, Montreal in 2002, and Quebec City in 2007 and 2011 with the expected participation of more and more engineers and researchers from every part of the world.
The conference will focus on durability of structures newly constructed, repaired and strengthened with FRP composites. Moreover, it will provide a unique opportunity for researchers, engineers, consultants, owners, and FRP manufacturers to exchange the up-to-date knowledge on durability of FRP composites in construction, including basalt, glass, aramid, and carbon fibers.
A variety of session formats will fill the three days of this conference with a balance of research and practice, allowing for the widest possible participation. Keynote lectures will help entice the learning appetite of the audience, while exhibits will showcase the ever-increasing market for companies in civil engineering.
Please take a visit to this website from time to time in order to find up-to-date information about the conference.
On behalf of the CDCC 2017 organizing committee, I look forward to welcoming you to Sherbrooke in July 2017; the best time in the year to discover such a remarkable city!
